I don't understand what the options are budget or luxury? I payed 388 for 2 nights and it was a joke! I will never stay there again and I will never recommend it. I am extremely disappointed. The only thing I liked was the front desk staff and the location.
I didn't need or want a handicap room but I got one. The shower head wouldn't stay straight, it make it extremely difficult to shower! The water wasn't hot for the first night. There was no internet access. It was a total rip off.
Close to the beach, close to the event that we were attending. Cleaning staff were very friendly.
No decaf coffee. Kitchenette did not have much in the way of kitchen and cooking utensils. We requested for a 2nd floor room when we booked 3 months in advance and when we booked in were told we could not get a 2nd floor room.
The staff was very friendly. The rate was great and it was right across the street from the beach and walking distance to some good restaraunts.
It was very out dated. The bed was so old it dipped in the middle. It was a very uncomfortable sleep.
Nicely located opposite the beach beside the lake; also convenient to visit the wine growing area
The manager was wonderful! She was so helpful and accommodating as well as being friendly. Also, was happy to have 2 beds.
Bedside lamps should be on outside of each bed so if one person is reading late, the light is less disturbing. Refrigerator wasn't able to freeze our water.
Reasonable value , for money--good if you had a family, with a pullout sofa/bed in the sitting area. Clean rooms; great location for beach and events (jazz festival)
The public park nearby was noisy during the night.
The location is right off the beach and as Penticton is quite a party town on the weekend, I was concerned that the motel would be loud at night. Not at all. Had a great nights sleep!
The BBQ's were really poor quality
Comfortable, clean, well priced, good location, all staff great especially Patricia & Clayton.
The location is excellent but the hotel isn'T...
Building maintenance needs attention. Can only comment on the room we stayed in. The bathroom door had to be forced to shut. The bed was squeaky and the cutains were difficult to oprate. The clock radio was busted and the table lamp bulb was burned out. There was no hotel visitors guide in the room. Local phone calls were billed, yet no notice of phone charges were displayed anywhere. Only upon checking out did the front desk "drop the bomb". Very petty in my view. Staying at many hotels, this place ranks near the bottom in my mind. The business rests too much of its laurels on its location. Also upon arrival our online booking was never confirmed with the hotel. Fortunately there was vacancy. This made the initial impression of the hotel very unprofessional and back water, motor hotel"ish"...
Went out of their way to support us as my husband was in a bike race so room was on ground floor, had room for his bike, allowed late check out on race day. Got great restaurant recommendation from staff.
Pull out couch very uncomfortable and bedroom stuffy with door closed at night.
Location opposite Okanagan Lake. Bed was comfortable
Rooms were dated, bathtub tap did not work well
Service was very good and room was comfortable.... I really like going again on this place and spend my holidays with my family. Lovely place...................
The location was great-right across the street from the beach.Everything was within walking distance-restaurants, shops and spas, although there were no grocery stores around.I thought the price 175 plus tax was too high for not so high end hotel.Front desk staff were awesome and helpful.
No elevator to the second floor-I had to drag my bags up and around stairs.I would have liked a bigger and nicer balcony There was NO coffee in the room-everybody puts coffee in the room!.
Fantastic value for money! Very clean, great maid service daily. Terrific location to the beach, with air conditioning and a fully functional little kitchen. We will definitely consider staying here again.
Just a few nit-picky things--the shower head came out of the wall at chest level and the water would turn cold or burning hot without warning. And the beds were small. We were suppose to get 2 queens, but ended up with 2 double/full instead.
